On the 27th of August, we were honored with an incredible opportunity to present our ongoing project of growing trees to offset carbon emissions to the Division of International Strategy and Coordination Division. During this event, we outlined our key aims, goals, and plans, sharing our vision for a more sustainable future. This was a significant moment for us, as we not only highlighted the progress we’ve made so far but also discussed the exciting prospects we have in store.

Gaining Full Support from the NESDC!

We were delighted to receive mentorship by the Deputy Secretary-General of National Economic and Social Development Council, Wanchat Suwankitti, who would help us grow by giving us recommendations and feedbacks on our initiatives!

Our Aims and Goals

Our project revolves around a simple yet impactful idea: planting trees to reduce the carbon footprint generated by fuel consumption in our family business. Over the past two years, we’ve planted over 100,000 trees, contributing to a healthier environment and raising awareness in our community about the importance of sustainable practices.

But we don’t plan to stop here. Our future goal is to take this initiative to the next level by integrating it into the wider school community. This would not only help offset emissions but also inspire younger generations to take action for the environment.

Our Vision for the Future

During the presentation, we outlined a detailed plan for how we can achieve our long-term goals. Our strategy includes:

• Collaborating with the school to organize tree-planting events where students can participate and learn about the importance of environmental stewardship.

• Building partnerships with environmental clubs and organizations to expand the project’s reach.

• Raising awareness through workshops and seminars that educate students about the impact of carbon emissions and the role of trees in mitigating climate change.

Together, we are excited to see how this project will grow and evolve, and we are confident rgat with the collective efforts with our community, we can create lasting, positive change.
